In August 2025, MonaTrio held its third performance: a picture book concert titled Color Monster Edition.
This time, the concert was centered around the theme of “emotions,” designed to help children explore and experience a range of feelings through music.
Love, joy, fear, calm, sadness…
As the mood shifted with each piece, the children imagined their own emotion monsters and joyfully immersed themselves in the music.
We hope this special summer day — where live performance, picture books, and hands-on activities came together — remains a warm and lasting memory that helped bring music a little closer to their hearts.

We hope to cherish these summer moments when the children truly breathed with the stage.
Whether moving to the melodies or quietly focusing their ears, the way the children colored their emotion monsters with such care and attention will stay with us for a long time.
Among all these moments, what struck us most were the children’s eyes — full of wonder and focus as they listened to the storybook. Thanks to their openness and deep engagement, this performance became all the more heartfelt and meaningful.
Above all, this concert was special because it was a stage we created together. Watching the children draw, cut out, and describe their own emotion monsters — each in their own unique way — brought us warmth and inspiration as well.
To all the families who helped bring this concert to life: thank you, truly.
